Dolby XP
Motion UI

Dolby XP is an exclusive, invite-only app designed to immerse users in the full spectrum of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos experiences. It spans all entertainment categories, offering a cutting-edge showcase of these technologies in action across various media, from movies and TV shows to music and gaming.

In my role, I developed animations based on designs created by the Dolby design team, serving as key references for engineers and providing detailed motion guidelines essential to the app's development. These guidelines ensured consistency and quality across all breakpoints, including iOS, web, and tvOS, allowing the app to deliver a seamless and immersive experience on every platform.

Below are the animated UI elements created specifically for iOS, showcasing the intended interactions and visual responses within the app.

I also developed an animated user flow in Adobe After Effects for each breakpoint, providing a comprehensive reference for developers.

Displayed on the right side of the screen, the animation illustrates how each UI element responds to user interactions on iOS—such as scrolling, tapping, and navigation—showcasing the exact motion and transition effects.

This guide enables developers to replicate the desired fluidity, responsiveness, and visual feedback in the final app, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.

The two videos below showcase the animated UI elements created for the web, offering a clear view of each component’s interactive behavior and visual transitions.
